LCD Soundsystem- Someone Great

Black and White Portrait

I find myself wearing predominantly black and white these days. It's really convenient.

The Item: Want Les Essentiels De La Vie De Gaulle Computer Bag

Often with what I wear, I tend to buy items that have this timeless component to them because I'm a college student and I really can't buy into the 1-minute trend. I've seen this bag in numerous colors and I've never been disappointed; each one is stunning and striking, characteristics that will surely last for many years and that's worth the $1075.00 price tag. Find the Want Les Essentiels De La Vie De Gaulle Computer Bag at Oak.

The Turn: Vintage by Forward

Emerging from the creators of Revolve Clothing, Forward was constructed recently as an luxury online shop showcasing "emerging designers and progressive collections from around the world." In addition to such a sartorial foci, Forward also features vintage wear, Vintage by Forward, that continues to inspire tomorrow's fashion.

"Vintage by Forward Styles featured in Vintage by Forward are hand-selected from What Comes Around Goes Around vintage archives in New York. The curated collection offers unique items from decades past alongside classic pieces from iconic designers like Yves Saint Laurent, Oscar de la Renta, and Burberry."

It's snowing in Austin, TX. It hardly snows here and well it's ridiculously happy (adding to such a sentiment, students were running around with much excitement on the University of Texas campus). The weather reminds me how much I miss Scandinavia; I need to get myself back in Northern Europe.

Low- Just like Christmas

Update: Since Austin hardly ever witnesses snow, Texans in the state capital tend to act ridiculous when they encounter snow or sleet. These tendencies are displayed, for example, when U. Texas shuts down because of such weather conditions. Tomorrow finals begin and well my Facebook away status was as follows: "Sartorial Architect is OMG FINALS ARE SHIFTED TO NEXT WEEK." Well, this wasn't the case... nothing official was sent out. So in about seven minutes I was able to change my away status to: "Sartorial Architect is 11 people hate me. I met my quota for this year thanks to my recent away status."

I'm a horrible person.

T.S.A. Gift Guide: F#ck the Recession Accessories

I hate it when I don't keep my word. I usually have this sad feeling of guilt when such bad manners are exhibited so I put a little something together during my study breaks. As the Recession is marking its 1 year birthday this holiday season, I should have shifted this gift guide towards a wallet friendly post, but I say that's nonsense. I have no good reason for such logic.

Enjoy.

I'd like to blame it on the recession, but in all honesty it's due to final exams. I'm a horrible author and haven't found time to put together a gift guide. I've instead been staring at science textbooks all of this time. To mildly compensate, I've included links in this post that will direct you to some gift guides.

Last Minute Gifts (NY Mag).

The Stylish Gift Guide (Valet Mag).

Gift Guide for individuals with a taste for indie fashion (Refinery 29).

If none of these guides help and you're lost for ideas, I recommend a Oak Gift Certificate or this one. Both work equally as well.
